This course is for someone who is looking forward to step in Aged Care and support services. This course will give you foundation skills and knowledge to be able to work in aged care Centres, Community services and Nursing homes across Australia.

This unit provides skills and knowledge to the Workers who support individuals in accordance with a set individualize plan in any setting related to community services and home care.

In order to participate in safe work practices to protect one's own health and safety as well as that of others in work settings that involve providing direct client care,
a worker must have the skills and knowledge described in this unit. It emphasis preserving the security of the worker, the individuals receiving help, and other community members.
